Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled Mine Planner to join their mining company in the North-West region. As a Mine Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mine plans and designs, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.Responsibilities
- Create short-term and medium-term mine plans and designs.
- Optimize production schedules and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular surveys and assessments to monitor and update mine plans.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of mining activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present reports on mine planning activities.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in mine planning.
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Mining Engineering or Mine Surveying
- Rock Breakers/Blasting Certificate (Opencast/Surface)
- 5 years' experience in mine planning within the mining industry.
- Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, MineSight, Deswik).
- Valid driver's license
- Salary: Negotiable
