They are our greatest asset.Join us and lets grow together.We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Witbank, Mpumalanga area.The succesful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Complex by ensuring optimal exploitation of coal reserves, assisting in meeting operational and strategic business objectives.Key Responsibilities
Conducting drill and blast planning activities for the opencast operations.
Supporting the production process to achieve planned targets.
Fulfilling daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting duties.
Supporting preparation of reserves and parameters.
Doing viability studies.
Minimum Qualification:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (NQF Level 7) in Mining OR relevant Mineral Resource Management.
Surface Blasting Certificate.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD (Microstation) and other scheduling software (XPAC/OCCS).
Experience in design packages (Vulcan, 3D-Dig, Dragsim, Haulism) and Xeras knowledge will be an added advantage.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in a Production Supervisor role and minimum 3 years experience in the Planning Environment OR as an Explosives Engineer.
Experience as a Drill & Blast Superintendent will be advantageous.
