Our client in the retail software industry is looking for Mobile Application Developer to join their team.Qualifications & Experience

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• A tertiary qualification in IT, Software Development or related field is advantageous.
• Working experience in mobile application development, preferably using the Ionic Framework.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Technical Skills & KnowledgeRequired:

• Mobile development using Ionic Framework.
• Angular (clarify if AngularJS or newer versions).
• HTML5, CSS (frontend technologies).
• Experience with APIs and third-party plugins (e.g., Firebase, RESTful APIs).
• Apache Cordova.

Beneficial (not required):

• C#.NET.
• SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using the Ionic Framework.
• Integrate APIs and third-party plugins to enhance application functionality.
• Work closely with software developers and business experts to build mobile applications.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile applications.

Working Conditions:

• This role is primarily remote, with the option to work from a shared office if preferred.
• The developer will collaborate with expert business and software developers.
