Job Description
A vacancy exists for a Mobile Driver (Stores) - to be based at our Bapotrans Depot.The position requires the individual to operate a vehicle and provide transportation services to clients or customers to and from their requested locations. Mobile drivers travel to various locations to fulfill transportation needs. The Mobile Driver ensures the adherence to regulatory and safety requirments at all times.Minimum RequirementsMust have Grade 12,Must Code 08 (EB) License,Duties & Responsibilities- Responsible for collecting parts in JHB, Thlabane and Suppliers,- Shuttling betweed workshops - Bojanala, EPL and the Karee Depot,- Collect and transport spare parts, tools and equipment to and from various suppliers or parts stores,- Ensure that the right parts are obtained and delivered in a timely manner to support ongoing repair and maintenance tasks,- Collect scrap metal generated with the workshop for repairs or maintenance work,- Ensure the safe and timely mvement of vehicles and equipment, including co-ordinating with workshop staff to meet scheduling needs,- Maintain accurate records of part collections, scrap metal transportation, and inter-workshop shuttling activities,- Keep details logs of mileage, destinations, and time taken for each trip,- Maintain clear and effectvie communication with workshop staff and management to co-ordinate the timely pick-up and delivery of parts and materials,- Co-ordinate vehicle movements and schedules to ensure efficient operations,
