Eastern Cape, UitenhageMonthly Cost To Company (Market related)Our client in the manufacturing industry, based in Kariega, Eastern Cape, is currently looking to employ a MRP Controller.An exciting career opportunity awaits you!Requirements:
- B.Eng / B.Sc / BTech in Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, OR B.Sc Statistics / Mathematics, OR BCom Logistics / Supply Chain.
- Up to 3 years practical experience in inventory and stock control as a Material Resource Planner.
- Experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage.
- MS Excel (advanced), MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook skills essential.
- Working knowledge of Syspro.
1. Customer Demand into ERP (Syspro)
- Process Customer Demand on EDI portal.
- Import EDI demand into Syspro.
- Manually upload customer demand for customers that are not on EDI.
- Verify completeness of Customer demand received.
- Refresh Stock on Hand (SOH)
- Refresh Demand
- Calculate Backlog
- Insert Backlog into MRP demand
- Refresh Component demand via Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Refresh PO's.
- Refresh Goods Received Notes (GRN's).
- Establish critical parts - Out of Lead Time (OLT).
- Generate new orders as per MRP for all suppliers.
- Update and send releases to all suppliers.
- Track milestone adherence of all PO's.
- Engage with suppliers and Forwarder on PO's that missed milestones.
