Job Description


This is a desk-based role located in our Johannesburg Office. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards and provide excellent customer service and support. Full comprehensive training will be provided.
As a member of our Unified Communications Provisioning & Support Team, you will primarily be responsible the provisioning of our wide range of Telecommunications products and services including:
Hosted Telephony – Asterisk knowledge is advantageous
Connectivity (broadband)
Unified Communications
Phone Lines – VoIP and Cellular
 
Overview of Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:
Fault diagnosis and efficient management to resolution
Establish customer requirements and assess their needs through to implementation.
Escalating queries and concerns where necessary
Liaising with suppliers
Provisioning products and services
Troubleshooting
 
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Support or Customer service experience within the telecommunication sector.
A desire to work as part of a global team to generate fresh and innovative ideas.
High attention to detail
Effective organisational and communication skills
Good telephone manner
Hold all work-related information and materials confidential.
 
 
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Technical Support training
Matric with Mathematics
 
 
 About the Position:
Hours of work: 9 to 7
Salary: Market Related and commensurate with applicants past work experience and skill level
Position: Full time / Permanent
Position Location: Houghton, Johannesburg Gauteng
