Job Description
Our client seeks an experienced individual to handle all modes of transport as a preferential but seafreight imports and exports as a non-negotiable.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate multimodal transportation processes, with a strong emphasis on seafreight import and export operations.
- Handle all modes of transport including airfreight, road freight, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from origin to destination.
- Liaise with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Utilize Shipshape software for documentation and operational tasks, streamlining the logistics process.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues that may arise during the transport process.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in seafreight import and export operations a non-negotiable.
- Multimodal transport experience is highly preferred, with a comprehensive understanding of airfreight, road freight, and seafreight.
- Proficiency in Shipshape software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A track record of successfully managing complex logistics processes and delivering high-quality service to clients.
