Job Description
Our Music Specialist will have passion, a real love for music and a genuine interest in promoting the formal learning of Class Music in the Prep School. Ability in choral work and marimbas would be an added advantage.The following are regarded as given:
- previous experience in teaching Music;
- willing and able to teach Art for Grade 6 and 7 would be an advantage;
- at least 5 years school teaching experience:
- strong leadership qualities with a penchant for working with people;
- relevant academic qualifications and experience in this field;
- commitment to complementary musical teaching eg: theory
- proficiency as a pianist;
- being a keen team player;
- the ability to communicate effectively with parents and skilled at administrative tasks;
- strong verbal and written communication skills;
- a SACE certificate;
- in possession of a current police clearance certificate.
