Role Overview:



The Live-In Nanny & Household Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional childcare and household support within a private family home. This role requires a 12-month commitment and includes room, board, training, and certification.

A Typical Day in the Role:



6:00 a.m.

: Wake up and prepare the kids for school

6:30 a.m.

: Make breakfast and pack school lunches

7:30 a.m.

: Kids leave for school

8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

: Deep clean the house, complete chores, and run household errands

3:00 p.m.

: Children return, prepare a light lunch/snack and serve

6:00 p.m.

: Serve dinner

7:00 p.m.

: Bath and settle the kids for bed

8:00 p.m.

: Day ends (This may vary based on efficiency and schedule)

Key Responsibilities:



Childcare Duties:



Provide daily care for children, including supervision, and routine management Assist with school preparation, bedtime routines, and occasional outings Ensure a safe and nurturing environment at all times

Household Support Duties:



Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying, and organizing Prepare child-friendly meals Assist with basic errands or grocery planning when requested Maintain a clean and welcoming household environment

Minimum Requirements:



Minimum of 3 years of childcare experience Housekeeping experience Ability to communicate in English Willingness to live and work in Africa or abroad for a minimum of 12 months
