National Accounting Manager

Job Description
Our client is on the outlook for a National Accounting Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. You will be contributing to the organisation's risk and compliance as well as leading the large national bookkeeping teams in their 6 regional branches across the country.Duties:
- Being accountable for accounting operations. Including managing bookkeeping teams
- Implementing effective accounting systems and automating accounting workflows
- Managing monthly KPIs
- Recruiting and training support for the regional accounting teams
- Conducting regular quality control reviews
- Dealing with external auditors with escalated queries
- Completed BCom degree (Finance)
- Minimum 5+ years in a similar role
- Completed articles (SAICA/SAIBA/SAIPA)
- Registered Tax Practitioner (advantageous)
- CA(SA) advantageous
- Strong Management experience
- Periodic Travel will be involved (all over SA)
- Strong CaseWare or Xero or Unibrowse experience (must be very tech savvy)
