Job Description


Job Purpose

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and achieve business objectives across the country.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Sales and Marketing diploma / degree (ideal)
  • At least 4-6 years' experience within Sales Management role (ideally in the Bedding Manufacturing/Similar Industry)
  • Experienced with several systems (Syspro, etc.)
  • Full understanding of product development and production costs
  • Microsoft Office
Minimum Skills and Abilities Required
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to cultivate strong multi-player relationships
  • In depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software
  • Applicable experience of sales performance metrics
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Highly organized and neatly presented at all times.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Customer oriented with strong negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and data driven problem solver
Roles and Responsibilities
  • As a National Sales Manager for your area of responsibility, your functions will be as follows:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department * Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities * Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
  • Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
  • Identifying new markets for the company's products or services
  • Negotiating pricing terms with vendors or suppliers
  • Developing new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and contacts within the industry
  • Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve specific objectives or goals
  • Developing and implementing training programs for new employees on proper sales techniques and procedures
  • Coordinating activities with other departments within the organization, such as marketing or finance
  • Evaluating performance of sales representatives and providing feedback to improve performance
  • Maintaining contact with clients, customers, or other individuals involved in the sale processes
  • Manage national QS program. Aligning stock mix and stock levels to meet sales targets.
