Qualifications and Experience
Sales and Marketing diploma / degree (ideal)
At least 4-6 years' experience within Sales Management role (ideally in the Bedding Manufacturing/Similar Industry)
Experienced with several systems (Syspro, etc.)
Full understanding of product development and production costs
Microsoft Office

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Able to cultivate strong multi-player relationships
In depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team
Hands-on experience with CRM software

Roles and Responsibilities
As a National Sales Manager for your area of responsibility, your functions will be as follows:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies
Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department * Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities * Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Identifying new markets for the company's products or services
Negotiating pricing terms with vendors or suppliers
Developing new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and contacts within the industry
Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve specific objectives or goals
Developing and implementing training programs for new employees on proper sales techniques and procedures
Coordinating activities with other departments within the organization, such as marketing or finance
Evaluating performance of sales representatives and providing feedback to improve performance
Maintaining contact with clients, customers, or other individuals involved in the sale processes
