Our client, premier supplier of building solutions in SOuthern Africa,invites the applications for a National Sales & Operations Manager (South Africa), based in KZN.KPA - To Manage, Develop & Control the national sales function by achieving & increasing sales targets above budgeted targets, GP budgets and growing sales nationally: * Build a dynamic & motivate sales team through training, coaching and mentoring and spending time with sales team

  • Providing efficient technical & professional backup to sales team
  • Individual will have to exceed own individual budgeted sales targets
  • Develop & implement effective sales strategies
  • Manage and lead nationwide sales team members
  • Establish productive & professional relationships with key personnel
  • Negotiate pricing strategies
  • Monitor & analyse performance metrics, suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual sales forecasts
  • Market intelligence research and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Develop strategies, in conjunction with the marketing team
  • IR
  • Identify opportunities to develop new products/offerings to increase sales solution offerings
  • Increase market share of identified projects
  • Growing value add and solution sales
  • Customer relationship management
  • Complying with established controls and authority levels in the scope of the function
  • Managing and controlling the cost parameters of the sales budgets
EducationRelevant Bachelors degree (Business / Sales / Operations / Management) or Equivalent(Added advantage - MBA or PGD)8+ years progressive Sales Management experience within a supplier/distributor (construction / building / steel / engineering / aluminium / metal) environment.5+ year active proven Operations Management skills and experienceKey competencies and skills:a. Hold Sales Reps accountable for performance by meeting daily, weekly with each sales Rep to review opportunities, current leads and overall work efforts.i.
