Motus Renault Multifranchise Division is looking to appoint a National Used Car Manager to oversee and advise the business on all Used Car sales related processes, activities, and performance. Kindly note that this is an internal opportunity.
Position OverviewMotus Renault Multifranchise Division is looking to appoint a National Used Car Manager to oversee and advise the business on all Used Car sales related processes, activities, and performance.
Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Bid4cars process and responsible for one team member.
  • Oversight of used car stock with a focus on:
  • Ageing cars (60 days)
  • Pricing of cars vs market values and how this impacts leads.
  • Reconditioning costs vs valuation estimate.
  • Number of cars in stock in relation to target or expectations.
  • Stock acquisition:
  • Oversight of buy-ins and turnaround of these cars.
  • Build relationships with Importers and Auctions to secure good deals on bulk deals.
  • Websites:
  • Oversight of website standards
  • Sources of leads and ROI
  • Oversight of Showroom floors:
  • Standardise showroom floor look and feel with point-of-sale material. Price boards/branded backing plates/Gazebos/Spec boards.
  • Consistent outside displays. Managers Specials/Bulk deal specials.
  • Stats and Ratios:
  • Valuations and deals concluded ratio
  • Ave 1st APU and how many Safety Film sold.
  • Retail price brackets of sold cars/makes and derivatives of sold cars/Year models of sold cars.
  • Leads to Deals done ratios.
  • Applications/Approvals/deals Done Ratios
  • Reviews and Visits
  • Regular feedback sessions on all the above (Bi Monthly used car meeting)
  • Daily dealer visits
  • Training
  • Drive dealers to train on regular basis on product and sales skills.
Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum Experience10 years experience in a similar environment.Specialist Used Car valuation experience within the motor industry.Minimum QualificationFinance Ralated DegreeOther RequirementsComputer Literacy Business Applications
Industry legislative compliance/ knowledge.
Valid driver's licensePrior experiencing using a DMS (e.g Automate/ Autoline/ Kerridge etc.) is mandatory. DRIVE experience highly desired.EXCEL advancedGeneral knowledge of generally accepted accounting policiesGeneral knowledge of HR issues and disciplinary proceduresSkills and Personal AttributesMinimum RequirementsSkills and Expertise Required:
