Strategic VM Execution:
Strategy Development: Design and implement the WEdit VM strategy in partnership with the GM WEdit, translating global insights and VM trends into localised execution strategies that align with customer expectations and the overall brand identity and vision.
Concept and Innovation Development: Identify and implement new VM techniques/ technologies and sustainable practices to enhance in-store experiences. Pilot innovative display concepts and assess their commercial impact before full-scale rollout
Seasonal Planning: Develop seasonal execution plans that translate the strategy into actionable store-level initiatives.
Corporate Integration and collaboration: Connect with Woolworths Brand VM teams and strategies and incorporate relevant elements into WEdit-specific strategies.
Partner with cross-functional teams (buying, planning, marketing) to ensure seamless integration between product strategy and VM execution
Leverage digital tools / solutions: that support efficient and effective VM execution
Execution Oversight: Cascade the VM strategy to all store teams, ensuring seamless and accurate implementation across the portfolio.
Budget Management: Manage the VM financial budget, ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts and timely reporting.
Leadership and Team DevelopmentInspirational Leadership: Foster an environment of accountability, creativity, innovation, and continuous learning within the VM function.
Team Training: Provide training and upskilling for store teams to ensure effective execution of VM strategies.
Stakeholder Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for VM initiatives.
Performance Management: Oversee the Individual Performance Management (IPM) process, ensuring alignment with WEdit objectives.
Process Refinement: Adapt corporate processes to meet the bespoke needs of WEdit.
Minimum requirements
At least 8 years of Visual Merchandising experience, ideally within small-box retail.
Proven leadership ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
Strong commercial acumen and creative vision.
* A relevant business-related tertiary qualification is advantageous.
