• Incident Management Problem Management.
• Network Management processes and principles
• IP Systems/Networks
• Transport Core and Access Networks and Services
• GSM knowledge and related technologies

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Matric essential
• Degree/3 Year National Diploma (S4)/within the Electrical

/Information Technology /Computer Science/ Software Engineering is essential * At least 3 years working in the Transmission / IP Networks environmentxc3x82xc2xa2 To ensure that all network elements are monitored on a 24/7 basis.
xc2xa2 Capture all network incidents on the FMS
xc2xa2 Report, handover and escalate all network faults according to NMC Fault Handling and Escalation Procedures within the prescribed service level agreements
xc2xa2 Hand over all relevant network incidents to operational support
xc2xa2 Conduct proactive intervention including routine tests
xc2xa2 Provide technical leadership, training and support to staff
xc2xa2 Conduct hand-over at shift rotation.
xc2xa2 Monitor and manage network
xc2xa2 Manage planned works
xc2xa2 Manage and compile reports
xc2xa2 Participate in departmental projects
