Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Network Support Engineer (Mid to Senior) to join their team in Woodmead on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth and a great working environment.Requirements: JHB Based (Woodmead) - Travel required within Gauteng3-6 months

• 5+ years experience in similar role or IT field (Preferably in an IT company servicing more than one IT environment)
• Own reliable transport
• IT Tertiary qualification
• MS Qualification
• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• VMWare / Hyper V / Office 365 Server experience
• Networking WAN / LAN and Wireless Backups experience
• Advanced Trouble-Shooting experience
• Hardware Installation, Remote Troubleshooting, Remote support experience
• All Elements of day-to-day operations including but not limited to.
• Networks & Networking support including Routers, Firewalls, Switches, WAN, LAN.
• Servers and server support including, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange and any additional services.
• Hypervisor support for VMWare, including Physical HOST and virtual server support.
• Veeam backup and replication support.
• Desktop support (If / when required)
• End Users support.
• Software support.
• 3rd party support for any 3rd party hardware or software.
• Proactive infrastructure monitoring and reporting.
• Ticket system required & AH support for users and systems.
• Alerts will be dealt with and resolved within SLA.
• Reporting will be provided against all infrastructure to ensure proficient stability and uptime

• Certifications (including but not limited to MCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISM)
• Degree/Diploma in a relevant field will be an advantage
