Job Description

Our client in the financial sector in Johannesburg is looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst on a 12 month contract basis.To qualify for this role you will need to have

• At least 10 + years' experience as a Business Analyst with a solid understanding of Business Analysis and Enterprise Business Processes.
• Be able to communicate and interact with the business community at all levels.
• Facilitate design workshops, and provide end user training.
• Lead presentations to Senior Management and Executives.
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organisation; to build a holistic view of the organisation's strategy, processes, information and information technology assets.
• Document multiple models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organisation will be met in an efficient; sustainable; agile and adaptable manner.
• Bring business needs, capabilities, technology and process together in an efficient and effective manner.
• Master the industry recognised knowledge areas for Business Analysis and work at the highest levels of abstraction, ambiguity, and complexity within the organisation.
• Perform business analysis tasks to connect information, technology, processes and business needs in varying levels of detail within an area of specialty; and perform all business analysis tasks at both ends of the detail spectrum.
• Solid experience in Enterprise Collections, Client & Product risk management is a preference.
• You must have worked on agile projects, and have a solid understanding of the SAFe framework, and the use of agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Must have worked on collections & recoveries projects in the banking industry. Have working experience in transactional banking products, and secured and unsecured lending products within banking.
• Have experience in applying process modelling standards such as, BPMN.
• Have solid knowledge of and have exposure to business process transformation, including process enabling and integrating technologies.

Desirable qualifications are:

• A degree or Diploma in information technology or similar
• A BA certificate
• A qualification in Agile
