Job Summary This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Operations Centre Engineer - Level 1 at Daisy Business Solutions in Fourways, Johannesburg. The Network Operations Centre Engineer will be responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, providing technical support. The role will require close collaboration with the team to maintain and optimize multiple clients across the country. Minimum Education - A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement for a Level 1 NOC Engineer. However, having an associate degree or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Administration can be advantageous. Technical Skills - - A fundamental understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnets, and basic network troubleshooting is essential. - Familiarity with common operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic command-line skills is beneficial. - Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools such as SNMP-based systems, packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark), and basic alerting systems. - Office 365 Administration - Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online - Knowledge in regards to Sophos Firewalls, UniFi UDM & USG will be advantageous.
