PermanentPlease note if you are an internal employee on a fixed term contract please apply using an external candidate profile and not your employee profileMAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo present and facilitate Higher Education and Training programmes and courses to Mediclinic students and employees in order to acquire competence (incl. cognitive, psychomotor and affective skills) as independent healthcare practitioners on completion of training.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASEnsure compliance to Higher Education & Training and American Heart Association (AHA) standardsDesign and assess learning material and interventionsFacilitate learning process, incl. theoretical and clinical facilitationCoordinate and administrate student-related processesREQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Masters degree or Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Education, Diploma in field of specialist disciplineDESIRED EDUCATION: PhD in NursingREQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 years experience in a training capacityDESIRED EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years experience in field of specialist disciplineREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Instructional Design (ADDIE model) and the application thereof
• Demonstrate competence in compilation procedures
• Nursing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
