xc3xa2-xc2xaa Provide lifestyle management screening tests
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Conduct Well Baby clinics, including health immunisations and baby health monitoring
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Offer and provide reproductive health services
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Provide adult immunisations
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Provide Primary Health Care e.g. minor ailments and wound care
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Render a Phlebotomy Service
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Compile professional, stock and financial management reports
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Manage medical waste, ensure a safe environment and safety precautions are taken
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Manage adverse events and emergencies
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Plan and implement Health Days and other projects
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Develop health professional networksMinimum requirementsQualifications and Experience:
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Registration as Professional Nurse
xc3xa2-xc2xaa 3 year diploma in nursing or the 4 year degree
xc3xa2-xc2xaa A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health and Midwifery
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Unisolv and Allegra (preferable)
xc3xa2-xc2xaa MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Ensures patient information is held securely, confidentially and accurately maintained on an electronic system
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Administration and reporting to ensure efficient running of the clinic as per company policy and processes
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Ensures payment for services received by ensuring controls in place and adhered to
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Manages, monitors and orders clinic services stock and equipment, along with prevention of loss and shrinkage and monitoring cold chain
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Financial and commercial acumen
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Ensures SANC registration and indemnity up to date
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Establishes locum network and arranges locums
xc3xa2-xc2xaa Implements and conducts self-audit tool
