DESIGNATION:OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE
REMUNERATION:C3 xe2x80x93 T.AS.K Level 11
LOCATION:MetrobusPurpose: Responsible for a healthy workforce in the entity and for provision of a cost effective primary and occupational health service in Metrobus in full compliance with all applicable legislation such as Occupational Health and Safety Act.Essential Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) plus three (3) year relevant tertiary Diploma or Bachelor xe2x80x98s Degree in General Health Nursing and or Occupational Health Nursing.
- Must be registered with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a qualified Nurse.
- Minimum three (3) yearsxe2x80x99 experience as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner
- Advanced Computer literacy will be an added advantage (Ms Word; Excel; Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.)
- Code EB (Code 8) driverxe2x80x99s licence and own vehicle.
1. Provision of Occupational Health Services in Metrobus.
2. Provision of primary health care services in Metrobus.
3. Management of Metrobus Clinic facility.
4. Responsible for all occupational and primary health Communication matters.
5. Responsible for all occupational and primary Health Education Empowerment.
6. Assist the Specialist: Health and Wellness on provision of specialised Counselling and Social Services as required.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Ability to initiate and advise on processes for the overall well -being of employees at a workplace setting.
- Ability to organize and schedule periodical clinical check on employees.
- Ability to Counsel and educate employees on health and wellness matters.
- Ability to provide nursing or clinical treatment to employees with injuries and or illnesses.
- Extensive knowledge of primary health care issues / challenges.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Cultural Awareness. This is essential to giving complete, patient -centred care.
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.
