Occupational Health TechnicianFunctionNursingFacilityPositionOccupational Health TechnicianIntroductionA vacancy exists for an Occupational Health Technician at Life Health Solutions clinic at Samancor ECM in Steelpoort, Limpopo, reporting to the Clinic Manager.The successful candidate will be responsible for rendering a quality occupational health service which is effective and efficient, and exceeds customers' expectations for an Occupational Health Clinic.Critical Outputs

• Providing health information to the Clients / customers that could be utilized to eliminate, control and minimize health risks and hazards to which the employees are, or may be exposed.

• Meeting Clinic administration needs timeously by assisting with filing and data
• Meeting the prescribed professional and quality standards of both Life Occupational Health and the clients

Requirements

• Qualification in Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary or related qualification in the medical
• Current registration with SANC/HPCSA.
• Certificate in competency:

• Spirometry
• Audiometry certificate and registration as an audiometrist with SASOHN
• Vision Screening
• Multi Drug Testing
• HIV Counselling and Testing (recommended)
• Computer literacy
• Ideally, the candidate should have experience in administration and employee relations, good communication
• Customer orientation, focus and teamwork complete the
• Candidates who are result oriented, good communication skills, have initiative and the ability to deliver quality outputs and reduce costs, will be most suitable for this position.
