The successful candidate will be managing the delivery of quality physical and functional assessments and rehabilitation to all care users and supervision of RFA department and Rehab facility.Critical Outputs

• Perform job analyses, risk assessments per job category and profile to determine fitness to work and required intervention and rehabilitation programmes
• Assist with alternative placement and disability management
• Plan and implement basic health promotion programs linked to improvement of work capacity
• Knowledge and understanding of Fatigue Management requirements
• Adjust on-site programmes to comply with changing legal requirement
• Training
• Administration
• Personal Development
• Understanding of monthly budget and financial requirements as well as cost control
• Quality assurance and control of the Department
• Liaison with other interdisciplinary team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy registration HPSCA
• RFA Centre Training
• RFA experience in FRA Centre
• At least 2 years of clinical experience will be advantageous
• Experience in a vocational rehabilitation / work assessment environment advantageous
• Registered with HPCSA
• Computer Literacy Microsoft Office
• Medical data base experience advantageous
• Own transport
• Own accommodation
• MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point proficient
• A candidate who is a team player, results-orientated, hard-working with good communication skills and customer orientated will be most suitable for this position
