Occupational TherapistFunctionLife Occupational health / Employee WellnessFacilityPositionOccupational TherapistIntroductionAn exciting full day opportunity for an Occupational Therapist x 1 at Clinic Black Rock in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be managing the delivery of quality physical and functional assessments and rehabilitation to all care users and supervision of RFA department.Critical Outputs

  • Perform job analyses, risk assessments per job category and profile to determine fitness to work and required intervention and rehabilitation programmes
  • Assist with alternative placement and disability management
  • Plan and implement basic health promotion programs linked to improvement of work capacity
  • Knowledge and understanding of Fatigue Management requirements
  • Adjust on-site programmes to comply with changing legal requirement
  • Training

  • Understanding of monthly budget and financial requirements as well as cost control
  • Quality assurance and control of the Department
  • Liaison with other interdisciplinary team members
  • A candidate who is a team player, results-orientated, hard-working with good communication skills and customer orientated will be most suitable for this position
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy registration HPSCA
  • RFA Therapist Training
  • RFA job Analysis Training ( Advantageous)
  • Post Graduate Ergonomics Diploma ( Advantageous)
  • First Aid Training
  • Valid Drivers License
  • RFA experience in FRA Centre
  • At least 2 - 3years Post graduation of clinical experience will be advantageous
  • Experience in a vocational rehabilitation / work assessment environment advantageous
  • RFA Centre experience
  • Registered with HPCSA
  • Vocational Rehabilitation experience advantageous
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Computer Literacy Microsoft Office
  • Medical data base experience advantageous
  • Own transport
  • MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point proficient
  • Own accommodation
