Basic Requirements:

• Formal Tertiary education:

• Grade 12
• National Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• B.Eng. Mechatronics
• B.Sc Information Technology
• B.Tech or B.Eng. Industrial
• Languages:

• English Read, write and speak (required)
• Afrikaans Read, write and speak (optional)
• German Speak (advantageous)
• Drivers License: Code 8 (required)

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, in the engineering and automation field
• Sales Experience in Industrial Sector
• Costing and estimation experience
• Project Management Experience (Advantageous)
• Marketing Experience (Advantageous)
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
• Strong technical background required

• Proven sales and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate technical benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Customer Requirements Analysis: Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their manufacturing processes and requirements.
• Solution Design: Assess customer needs and determine where our software products can be integrated to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Technical Consulting: Provide advice and support to clients on the best use of our software products to meet their operational goals.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the team to demonstrate the value of our solutions through demonstrations, presentations and supporting Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Sales Proposals: Prepare and customise product demonstrations to address the specific needs of prospective buyers, ensuring they see the full value and potential of our solutions.
• Solution Delivery: Ensure the technical team is fully informed about what was sold to meet all the demands and guarantee successful implementation, in addition to the core responsibilities of the role.
• Project Management: Lead and support the implementation of any POCs in customer environments, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
• Post-Sales Support: Regularly check in with customers to ensure our solutions are working effectively and that they are satisfied. Address any issues promptly with technical team and look for opportunities to offer additional solutions that meet their evolving needs.
• Market Feedback: Gather and report customer feedback to the Product Development team to inform future product enhancements and innovations.
• Travel Expectations: Solutions engineers may need to support a wide geographic area, including international travel as needed. Historically, this travel ranged from 50 to 90%, but with more virtual work options now, travel is less common but still possible.
• Jendamark Culture: Portray a positive image of Jendamark Automation while being detail-orientated, customer-focused and results-driven. This dedication may require working overtime to meet deadlines.
