Job Description


Requirements:Matric (Grade 12) level of education as a minimum
Ideally the successful candidate must have about 2 years administration experience
Computer literacy (MS Office)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to interact and liaise effectively with Clients and Colleagues
Complies with company ethics
Customer-service oriented
Ability to work effectively under pressure and additional hours/weekendsOffice Administrative duties:
Assist with staff local travel arrangements (when required)
Assist with staff local travel arrangements (when required)
Ordering of printing, stationery and office groceriesShips operations support:Act as back-up to Operators when they are not in the office or unable to attend to certain matters.
Crew change requirements: arrange and book necessary services per client instructions
Keep vessel registers up to date
Maintain Daily Port Position List.
Arrange necessary permits for port entry (staff and visitors)
RCG Manifest Submission (SARS)
Compile and distribute documentationSending off parcels/documents via courier and costing out.
Sending out of Vessel Line-Ups to clients.
Maintain and update statistical data on cargo exports / imports.
