Job Description


Our client in the Tourism industry is currently looking for an Office Assistant, in Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

  • Mending reception.
  • Issuing and maintaining STO contracts, as well as sending out and following up on these contracts.
  • Communicating special deals and promotions.
  • Coordinating tour operator brochures.
  • Observing client booking trends.
  • Processing reservations for Hotels and Virtual Partners.
  • Managing SA Office Debtors and collections.
  • Processing reservations for Hotels, Gateway Stream, and HeXA.
  • Monthly reporting on figures generated via RSA Central Reservations.
  • Managing office administration, including reconciliations and payment processing.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements, pre-expo arrangements, and event organizing.
  • Liaising with the Commercial Office for promotions and promotional materials.
  • Maintaining office environment and managing office cleaners and consumables.
  • Recording meeting minutes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualification in Travel, Tourism, or Office Administration.
  • Knowledge of OPERA/MS OFFICE with Advanced Excel.
  • Must be commercially driven and have extensive reservations and general administration knowledge.
Remuneration:
  • Dependent on qualification and experience.
