Provide coordination, planning and monitoring of all moot courts organised and participated in by the Faculty of Law and its students.
Contribute to the quality and performance of participants and organising of the internal moot court competition.
Contribute to knowledge creation and dissemination on moot courts, its impact on students and staff.
Responsible for project planning, financial administration and executing moot court participation and organisation in a timeous and professional manner.Inherent requirements:
An LLB Degree on NQF Level 8.
Minimum two (2) years relevant working experience related to the duties and responsibilities.
One (1) year relevant experience in facilitation and coordination of moot courts and or participation.Recommendations:
One (1) year of relevant experience in a Law Clinic and higher education environment.
Enrolled for postgraduate studies.
Knowledge and experience of student training and moot courts.
Knowledge of the Rules of the Magistrates Court and the uniform Rules of Court.
Knowledge of Clinical Legal Education.
Experience within the higher education environment.
Knowledge of university systems, policies, procedures.
Member of a or registration at a professional body.Required competencies:
