Job SummaryHire Resolve's client in the Solar Energy industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Operations and Maintenance Technician in Somerset West, Cape Town.Responsibilities:
- Perform site inspections as required in preparation for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) after project completion.
- Schedule and conduct maintenance and repairs on all related components of a PV system.
- Complete O&M inspection checklists.
- Send monthly performance reports to the Head of O&M.
- Liaise with the Head of O&M for resource requirements, including the Bill of Materials when needed.
- Manage client relations specific to O&M.
- Maintain and develop department documentation related to O&M.
- Stay up to date with the latest Solar Performance Standards.
- Check DC compliance.
- Conduct project site production runs and site visits in preparation for handover to the O&M department.
- Qualified Electrician or minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- IT/Communications and Solar knowledge/experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Salary: R750K/yr - R900K/yr, negotiable
