Job Description


To drive the incremental value of all online marketing activities. Responsible for the commercial performance and customer on-line experience. Be an integral part of the marketing team in providing support to sales.Key Performance Areas:WebsiteOverall responsibility for updating maintenance and optimization using various toolsResponsible for website maintenanceManage content using CMsCreate and upload content and imagesConduct key word research and SEO optimised contentAnalyse visitor behaviour to inform and optimise appropriate content and strategyUse website analytics (e.g. Google) and other online reporting tools to evaluate theperformance of the website and opportunities for improvementsCollaborating with relevant teams (locally and internationally) to create landing pages andoptimise user experienceEnsure all products are updated regularly and comply to CI for website linkagesSocial MediaBuild, grow and manage the companys social media profiles and presence, including Facebook,Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google +and any additional channels that may be deemedrelevantImplement campaigns and tactics to grow our followers, engage and retain them.Create shareable content appropriate for specific products or campaigns to spread bothour brand and our contentRun regular social promotions and campaigns and track their successMonitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/orindustry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from new audiencesExplore new ways to engage and identify new social networks appropriate to our targetaudience and industryTrack, measure, and analyse all initiatives to report on social media including ROIDigital (e-mail and mobile)Using target audience segmentation, develop, implement, track and optimise digital marketingcampaigns across all digital channelsEstablish a segmented approach to email and mobile marketing to improve customerengagementAnalyse and report on campaign results and customer behaviourUse findings to lead customer segmentation and targeting effortsMeasure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess againstgoals (ROI and KPIs)Liaise with all internal/ external stakeholders regularly to ensure all onlinecampaign/channel activity initiatives are properly identified, communicated, planned,executed and measuredAssist with briefs for website banners and contentAssist with online directories e.g. content managementE-commerceResponsible for growing the e-commerce activities and revenue streams to achieve online salestargets in conjunction with salesExploit the internet as a sales, business development and customer interaction tool toreach the commercial objectives set for this channelWork closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales team to develop an E-commercesales strategy including the management of all online sales activitiesCo-ordinate with the various product managers on all online products information includingpricingDevelop segmented customer profiles based on common characteristics includingcustomer type, purchase history, behaviour, and industryUnderstand and ensure all e-commerce activities compile with all legal requirementsGeneralCompile the annual digital/e-commerce marketing planCreate monthly/weekly reports or as required such as website, campaigns and socialmedia.Build and maintain relationships to share knowledge and experiences gained in localmarket across the global networkCo-ordinator with the Marketing Manager the customer survey (in-house or external provider) on an annual basis from question to overall analysis of the resultsCollaborate with agencies and other vendor partnersCreate Visual communicationCore Competencies - Attributes:Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiplechannels and customer touch pointsA systematic and logical approach to problem solving and a capacity to work aroundproblemsAbility to adapt and respond quickly to a fast-changing environmentCreative thinker with the ability to use both data and intuition to make informed decisionsAttention to detailTeam playerAdditional Job related requirements:Proficiency in using social media software (e.g HootsuiteExperience in optimising Google Adwords campaignsUp-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital/e-commerce marketing and measurementThorough knowledge of various IT applications such as MS Office and adobe Creative Suite
