Online Platform Clerk

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in buying and selling online, be comfortable managing backend systems, and capable of interpreting basic sales and performance reports.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage and update product listings on Takealot and other platforms. Ensure accurate pricing, stock availability, and product details across all listings. Process and monitor orders, returns, and customer interactions. Work with internal teams to align listings with marketing campaigns and stock movement. Handle back-office tasks such as product uploads, pricing updates, and system maintenance. Identify listing issues and resolve them proactively (e.g. pricing, images, product info). Generate and interpret basic sales reports to monitor performance and identify trends. Communicate with Takealot support when needed for issue resolution or queries.

Key Requirements:



6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience working on e-commerce platforms, preferably Takealot Familiarity with SEO or listing optimization. Basic understanding of online customer service processes. Capable of interpreting basic sales and online performance reports. Excellent Administrative work Good Knowledge of Excel Sage200 Experience is preferrable Detailed orientated and self-motivated

Must be located within 40km of the office
