Manage all duties and functions related to running a successful online/retails store.
Inventory Management: Ensuring products are available for customers.
Order Processing: Handling customer orders, verifying addresses, and managing shipping logistics.
Customer Service: Responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring sales data, analyzing trends, and generating reports to inform business decisions.
Security and Compliance: Ensuring the online store complies with data protection regulations, handling customer information securely, and maintaining website security.
Financial Management: Tracking revenue, expenses, and profitability, as well as managing budgets and financial forecasts.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement, staying updated on industry trends, and implementing strategies to enhance the online shopping experience.
Key Requirements:
Experience
Proven experience managing or operating an e-commerce platform.
Background in retail, sales, or digital marketing is often beneficial.
Experience with customer service and logistics management.
Sound business acumen, including the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of an online store
Technical Skills
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce).
Understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools.
Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS (optional but helpful for troubleshooting).
Experience with inventory and order management systems.
