Specific Role Responsibilities

Key Tasks:
Meet new vehicle sales goals and targets.
Receive and handle all inbound leads through a leads system In a quick and timely manner.
Ask qualifying questions to determine quality of lead.
Assist customers to find the right car for their needs, explaining the benefits and features of the vehicles.
Respond to and handle objections and other challenges In order to finalise the sale.
Provide customers with vehicle product and service information
Make sure that the customer is aware of all our back-end products. Involve F&I Manager in sales process.
Process vehicle sale and coordinate the vehicle preparation for delivery with the relevant dealership.
Liaise with the selling dealer to coordinate all sales activities including test drives, up to the delivery process
Finalise the sale/ Close the deal.
Handle (and if necessary, escalate) complaints/ troubleshoot problems.
Maintain accurate sales records, deal files etc to ensure compliance with Company requirements.
Follow-up customer calls diligently.
Handle customer inquiries both telephonically and by email.
Consistently ensure that product knowledge is up-to-date. Undergo training and conduct research using available resources to maintain highest level of product knowledge.
Enter new customer information accurately into the system.
Update existing customer information on the system
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
Ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is met in order to ensure future repeat business.
Identify and escalate priority issues.
Complete call logs and produce call and sales reports.
Carry out of all reasonable instructions/ duties given by any member of Management, from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Requirements:
Grade 12/ Matric (or equivalent)
Valid, unendorsed Driver's License and safe driving record.
Prior sales, telesales or lead conversion experience is necessary, however prior motor industry experience is not necessary.
Important to note:
Motor vehicle sales people must be willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays. Customers often shop for cars online at night or over the weekend, and a quick response to customer inquiries is critical.
