Operational Accountant

Job Summary A very exciting role is available for an experienced Accountant to join a dynamic and growing team. As the Operational Accountant you will manage a small team. You will be responsible for over-seeing the Debtors, Treasury and Debtors system administrator functions. Responsibilities: Treasury - ensuring sufficient cash is available to meet operational needs Cashflow forecasting Oversee Monthly Payroll Journal and process payments Monitor, reconciliation and confirmation of Inter-company loan accounts Oversee the completion of relevant balance sheet recons (Debtors' Book, Bank Reconciliations, Suspense Accounts) Systems Administration - Responsible for allocation and mapping of all new transactions Be the Main Pastel Administrator - responsible for maintaining the chart of accounts, setting up of new users and the year-end roll-over process Lead and guide a small team Requirements: Accounting or Finance degree Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role Computer experience: Pastel Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills Strong planning, organizing, scheduling, and objective setting Please note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider your application unsuccessful - please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.CA Financial AppointmentsRecruiter
