  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and manage financial performance across regional branches.
  • Lead a newly established department consisting of regional cost accountants, service and parts managers, and a team of 16 inventory controllers, providing financial insights to inform business decisions.
  • Engage with various stakeholders from branch staff to senior executives (COO, National Operations Manager, etc.).
  • Travel to branches occasionally to ensure financial alignment and provide on-the-ground support.
  • Drive strategic initiatives with detailed financial analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Lead ad-hoc financial projects as required by the business.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Support company-wide strategic planning and initiatives.
  • Hold monthly meetings with senior management (COO, National Operations Manager, Facilities Manager).
  • Contribute to special projects for the CEO, CFO, COO, and GFM.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Honours / CTA
  • CA(SA)
Experience:
  • SAICA Articles completed at a Big 4 firm.
  • 4-6 years of post-articles experience as a CA(SA), with a proven track record in financial analysis and cost management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience beyond audit roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Calm under pressure and able to navigate challenging situations with a level-headed approach.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and unafraid to ask the right questions and challenge the status quo.
  • A blend of detail-oriented analysis with a strategic, big-picture mindset.
