With a dedicated team and an established reputation, we are now seeking an experienced and organised operational manager to join our team and oversee the execution of our events.Job summary:As the Events Mobile Bar operational manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of all our events. You will be responsible for logistics, staffing, ordering, managing on-site operations, and coordinating with vendors. Your role will be key to making sure each event runs smoothly from start to finish, maintaining the high standards our clients expect.Key responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of mobile bar services at various events.Manage event logistics, including set-up, breakdown, and transportation of equipment.Coordinate staffing for events, including scheduling, hiring, and supervision.Manage bar inventory, ordering, and stock control for each event.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met.Problem-solve in real-time during events to ensure smooth operations.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends.Have to be able to work efficiently on ExcelRequirements:Proven experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.A valid driver's license and reliable transport.What we offer:Competitive salary based on experience.Opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team.Growth opportunities within the company.Exciting and diverse event locations.How to apply:If you're ready to take on this exciting role and be part of a growing company, please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience to Marc@dineanddash.co.za
