Job Description
Key Responsibilities OverviewWe are looking for a skilled professional to establish and manage operational risk management principles within IT and Data. The role involves developing and managing operational risk policies, processes, and systems in line with strategic objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks under the Operational Risk Framework.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an Integrated Operational Risk Management Framework.
- Develop a Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Oversee IT and Data risk metrics, incident management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead IT and Data governance, ensuring proactive risk management and disaster recovery processes.
- Manage cyber security, data breaches, and stakeholder relationships (Exco, Board committees).
- Relevant degree in IT, Information Systems, or Risk Management.
- 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Management within IT and Data.
- Expertise in IT governance, incident management, and risk controls.
- Operational risk modeling, process engineering, policies, and procedures.
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of governance standards.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel when necessary.
