Operations Assistant required for a well-established Transport and Logistics Company. Seeking a self-motivated individual who excels in high-pressure environments and is dedicated to completing tasks efficiently. This role serves as an entry-level opportunity.

Qualifications and Accreditations:

• Minimum requirement: Grade 12 with Mathematics and relevant work experience.
• A National Transport Diploma or similar qualification would be advantageous.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics, Transport, or Operations.
• Proficiency in Google web-based applications, Excel, and Word.
• Experience in Industrial Relations.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent analytical abilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of geography.

• Managing client and truck bookings.
• Issuing and controlling delivery notes.
• Handling invoicing tasks
• Monitoring vehicle tracking and generating fuel and revenue reports.
• Managing tyre inventory.
• Addressing client and company queries.
• Handling industrial relations matters.
• Managing daily crew board, casual labour, and staff overtime.
• Capturing vehicle data.
• Estimating and calculating office moves.
• Handling claims
• Managing petty cash.
• Promptly responding to requests and being flexible in approach.
• Demonstrating a deadline-driven mindset and ability to streamline processes.
• Possessing a Code B Driver's License.
• Ability to handle pressure and willingness to work extended hours.
