Minimum Requirements

Grade 12

Any Bachelors of Administration Degree / Diploma or related essential

Intermediate computer literacy level in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

Knowledge & experience in WMS - including scanner user MS Office

Job Related Requirements

Relevant experience in all job-related requirements listed below:

  • 3 year warehouse operation experience.
  • 3 year automotive environment experience.
  • 3 year call center experience, specific to automotive environment.
  • 5 year WMS experience
  • Fluent in English speaking, writing, interpretation & communication.
  • Attention to detail & strong administrative skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, and frequent overtime.
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal including telephone etiquette.
  • Good time management, organizational skills & problem solving attitude.
  • Team player and focused on collective goals.

Main purpose of the role

This role will be responsible for the planning of a wide variety of warehouse activities including daily work tasks, allocating outbound orders, scheduling of inbound deliveries, maintaining inventory and associated documentation for the Mazda account. The role requires constant follow-up on action items and outstanding issues to ensure planner has a finger on the pulse. These functions include Planning and scheduling all Inbound and Outbound Shipments. Balancing Cycle counts, Consolidations & Performance measurements, Inventory Movement investigations and updating clients on order status.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritize all outbound orders to ensure completion within SLA (Service Level Agreement) targets
  • Plan and prioritize all inbound shipments and liaise with carriers for delivery slots
  • Ensure that inbound schedules are updates and required inbound numbers are available in CW
  • Ensure utilization templates are updated daily and accurately
  • Plan daily cycle counts to ensure entire warehouse is counted wall to wall at least twice a year
  • Plan and communicate all client collections
  • Ensure that inventory transactions are accurately logged
  • Update and maintain bin maintenance requirements for bulk and pick face locations
  • Run and complete order reports to ensure proactive and efficient replenishments are completed
  • Ensure all required replenishments are completed and prioritized to ensure order are completed within SLA targets
  • Update and liaise with clients on order status and request
  • Update and complete all required reports or templates
  • Ensure all required work instructions are created, updated, and reviewed
  • Ensure that all customer and warehouse targets are met daily in line with defined KPI's
  • Identify, preempt, and communicate situation and risks within the operations that may impact the operation and ability to deliver commitments.
  • Make recommendations for improving general warehouse operations.
  • Ensure that the team is compliant with all work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Perform quarterly audits on work Instructions and update when required
  • Be vigilant about warehouse security and the general condition of stock, reporting any damages in time.
  • Ensure the adherence to health, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Control, action, investigate and complete CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) documents, if necessary, including nil picks, error percentages, KPI requirements, etc.
