Job Details:Title: Operations ControllerLocation: Kempton ParkPermanent: YesFull time: YesIndustry: Transport and LogisticsSalary / CTC: R 15 000Reports to: Logistics Manager:Our Client is seeking a skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to join their team.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Fleet Camera Systems.
- Proposing and Implementing Operational Systems to optimise fleet operations to improve overall business operations.
- Minimize Risk by monitoring, establishing and proposing remedial action for fleet.
- Tracking vehicle locations by GPS system.
- Monitoring driver performance.
- Answering driver calls and assist where required.
- Identifying on-road exceptions and taking immediate remedial action.
- Co-ordinating and responding to emergency situations.
- Liaising with drivers, operations personnel and management.
- Control Room Operator: 3 years (Required)
- Fleet Management: 3 years (Required)
- Matric
- 3 or more years' of experience working in a similar and relevant position and environment.
- Strong understanding of maps and giving accurate directions.
- Ability to learn new computer and systems fast.
- Good Communication Skills
- Excellent Timekeeping Abilities
- Ability to work and function in a high paced environment.
- Excellent pressure handling abilities.
- Ability to function as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent Coordination
- Good Organizing Abilities
