Are you a "fixer" by nature who is immediately available to roll up your sleeves?Owning and managing thousands of affordable residential units in the Johannesburg CBD has kept this organisation busy and thriving for several decades. With a view to shaking up the way they deliver both hard and soft services within their large portfolio, they are looking for a fixed term employee / contractor to rethink their property management, maintenance and facilities operations.Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will be responsible for reviewing and improving property management practices, improving controls, updating reporting structures and enhancing client service within inter-dependent teams. These include Property and Building Management, Repairs & Maintenance, Cleaning, Security, Projects as well as Health &Safety. Already linked through their common use of MRI software, an individual is sought who can drive change management to deliver a more efficient, risk reduced property management service to the shareholders and tenants.A 6-month contract is on offer to a property management and facilities systems expert who has a proven track record in turnaround strategies, a minimum of 20 years working experience as well as a good understanding of residential property.
