We are always on the lookout for more great people to join our team, who share our values!Who you are:We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team, who will focus on managing the department along with ensuring that our fleet is running at optimal efficiency. This manager will also assist in building and maintaining a high-performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of staff and service providers. This role is best suited for an organised, problem-solver with an agile and a strategic mindset.Your areas of responsibility:

• Manages the planning, scheduling and execution of all orders received from clients on a daily basis.
• Manages the daily turnover and the turnover achieved against the targets and budget.
• Continues to build relationships between the Planners, Coordinators and customers to ensure the best service at all times.
• Implements the strategic plan to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations team and ensures that the drivers are well equipped to perform their duties.
• Analyses the source of the non-conformances and implements improvements to the current systems to prevent recurrences.
• Manages the enforcement of the loading, on route and the offloading procedures to ensure that the customers products arrive free of damages.
• Manages the on-route risk associated with the company's vehicles and finds ways to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years operational experience in the transport sector, refrigerated transport experience will be advantages
• Minimum of 5 years Team Management Experience
• Degree or qualification is advantages
• Code 8 Drivers License

Salaries are based on a Total Cost to Company model and includes:
