Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and improve the efficiency of our daily business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising processes, managing teams, implementing business strategies, and ensuring operational excellence.

This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing resources, budgets, and operational risks. The Operations Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow, improve productivity, and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities1. Operational Strategy & Process Improvement



Develop and implement efficient operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and create solutions for improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance. Standardise and document operational workflows and procedures.

2. Team Management & Leadership



Supervise and support departmental managers and operational staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across teams. Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and staff development programmes. Act as a point of escalation for operational challenges and disputes.

3. Financial Oversight & Budget Management



Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial efficiency. Work closely with the finance team to track profitability and operational spending.

4. Compliance & Risk Management



Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards. Monitor and mitigate operational risks that could impact business performance. Implement and uphold quality assurance processes across all operational functions.

5. Business Performance & Reporting



Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on operational performance. Analyse data and business insights to support decision-making. Develop strategies for continuous improvement and scalability.

6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management



Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and external partners. Negotiate vendor contracts to secure favourable terms and reduce costs. Work closely with clients and key stakeholders to improve service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience



Proven experience in an operations management role (minimum X years in a similar position). Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and ERP/CRM systems. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost control. Ability to analyse data and implement strategic operational changes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or Business Process Improvement (preferred). Experience working in [Specify Industry - e.g., Finance, Logistics, IT, Manufacturing, Healthcare].
