Are you a strong mentor and leader with experience as an Operations Manager covering all modes of transport?My client is looking for you!Responsibilities:
Ensure the smooth running and co-ordination of the operational team in Johannesburg namely (Forwarding/Clearing/Import/Export/Air/Sea/Road)
Maintain and develop operational process/guidelines, improving and evolving to enable growth.
Support internal role players such as Sales/Servicing/Management/
Creating an environment of innovation to gain through motivation, training, supporting and team building.
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Weekly monthly reporting and attending management meetings.
Maintaining relations with various roles players (Government departments/Carrier representatives/Transporters/Depots or handling agents/SAAFF etc.)
Involvement in procuring and acquiring new suppliers when required with approval.
