NQF qualification and or post matric qualification in sales / logistic or warehouse.
A minimum of three years in the logistic or warehouse environment.
Experience in the welding environment and store processes will be an added advantage.
Driver's license and ability to work independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Complies with store operations, stock handling, and efficient receiving of stock.
Safeguards store process, operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Writing incident reports in cases on non- compliance.
Controls stock accuracy levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Management of staff, maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains store job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Process orders and liaise with customers and branch personnel.
Compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ensure that delivery deadlines are met.
Efficient fleet management and cost efficient containment.
Ensure productive stock take and cycle count and daily gas count
Cylinder reconciliation.
Back orders management.
Support sales team while on site and in the office to meet the branch financial targets.
