The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role is crucial in driving our production goals, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing operational performanceKey Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control
• Lead and supervise the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Manage inventory levels and ensure the timely procurement of raw materials
• Prepare and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations

• Formal qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in mining and mineral processing equipment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies helpful
• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
