Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits a results-driven and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor in the logistics industry based in Polokwane. Our client is seeking an individual who is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a proactive and experienced candidate to assist with the overall management and functioning of their Johannesburg operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of operations staff.
- Oversee fleet management, including vehicle maintenance, route planning, and driver coordination.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Manage and optimize warehouse and distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and resolving operational issues.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and developing team members to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Grade 12 / Matric Qualification non-negotiable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within logistics, transport, or operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
