As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team.Job Title: Operations & Warehouse ManagerLocation: Cape TownEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role:We're seeking an experienced Operations & Warehouse Manager to oversee our fulfillment operations, ensuring that every order meets our high standards for quality and delivery. This role involves managing a team of pickers and packers, coordinating with suppliers around quality control, and continuously improving our processes through technology and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Team Management: Lead and manage a team of pickers and packers, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to coordinate inbound orders, place orders, and ensure timely deliveries.Process Improvement: Implement new technologies and processes to automate and enhance fulfillment time and quality.Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control checks and processes to meet cold chain requirements and standards.Inventory Management: Utilize online order, fulfillment, and inventory systems to manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.Order Fulfillment: Oversee the day-to-day operations of order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of experience in the meat and butchery industry.Deep understanding of cold chain requirements and standards.Proven ability to implement quality control checks and processes.Proficiency in computers, Excel, IT, and online order fulfillment and inventory systems.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Day-to-Day Activities:Supervise and support the picking and packing team, ensuring efficient workflow and high accuracy.Coordinate with suppliers for inbound orders, manage stock levels, and place orders as needed.Develop and implement new processes and technologies to improve fulfillment operations.Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure all products meet our high standards.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all stock is properly stored and managed.Generate reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.Why Join BraaiBox?Be part of a dynamic and innovative company transforming the meat industry.Work with a dedicated team passionate about quality and customer service.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Competitive salary and benefits package.If you have a passion for quality, an eye for detail, and the skills to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!Job Type: Full-timePay: R20 000,00 - R35 000,00 per monthExperience:butchery: 5 years (Required)Location:Cape Town, Western Cape (Required)
