Operator Plate Manufactring Manufacturing
Port Elizabeth - Eastern Cape - South AfricaThe Operator in Plate Manufacturing is responsible for operating, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance across pasting lines, including the expander, tab blanker, hopper, divider, and stacker.Reporting to the Section Manager, this role requires:
- A Trade Test qualification (NQF 5) and a Grade 12 certificate (NQF 4)
- Supported by up to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in maintenance practices, SOPs, and equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret suppliers manuals to maintain product quality and machine performance.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office, SAP, ERP systems, and other job-specific software is essential.
- An understanding of housekeeping, safety, and compliance procedures.
