DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING STANDARDS
Continuously develop and maintain yourself to keep abreast with new technology and developments in your line of duty within the Personal Development Plan, discussed with your direct supervisor/manager.
NEW MACHINE DELIVERIES
All new machines delivered to the customer, include training for 3 operators, it is your responsibility to provide proper operator training to the prospective operators and to ensure that proper training material is available for their future reference.
OVER INSPECTION
A over inspection will be conducted on request from the mine's management to identify and rectify bad operating habits.
REPORTING
All reports must be submitted every week to the Training Coordinator. Provide the Training Coordinator with a weekly report summarizing the training completed for the week and the future training plan.
COURTESY CALLS
One of the most important parts of the business is the relationship with the customer, to ensure an ongoing relationship it is important for the trainer to get to the mines and identify any needs that may arise and also get information from the customer on any new developments or requirements.
MARKETING STRATEGY
Marketing is not directly a service function, but due to the contact between the customer and the service personnel the following functions have been identified as forming part of the function of the trainer:
Identify the existing customer base and increase efforts and service level as well as identify key role players and their requirements. If the relationship is good enough this will include market intelligence such movement of key role-players in and out of the mine, replacement of machines that is due, requirement for spare parts, etc.
Qualifications And Experience:
Experience developing and presenting training materials in a classroom and field setting.
5+ years of experience in training operators
Knowledge of adult learning principles and current training best practices
Driver's License
Advanced Computer skills
Passing Mine Medical Inductions is a requirement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
